WHY NĀDA EXISTS

Our Philosophy

Nāda was born from a shared understanding of sound's capacity to transform.

The Art of Nāda ™ brings together classical musicianship, original compositions, cultural heritage and restorative practice - thoughtfully composed to create space for stillness, connection and profound rest.

In a world of endless demands, constant notifications and busy minds, Nāda offers a sanctuary from the pace of modern life - where nothing is expected of you, and every detail is designed to help you leave feeling calmer, lighter and truly restored.

ABOUT

Jen McCrea, Founder.

Jen is a classically trained pianist and cellist who has represented Ireland on the international stage. She is also an award-winning leadership and wellbeing coach who has worked in 23 countries around the world.

Although music had always shaped Jen’s life, severe burnout early in her career marked a turning point. Years later, a life-altering experience led her to explore a wide range of wellbeing practices and modalities before undertaking professional training with the Australian Academy of Sound Healing.

Today, Jen draws on her musicianship, leadership and lived experience to create what lies at the heart of Nāda. Guests often say they feel safe within moments of arriving - a feeling that stays with them long after the final note.

THE SCIENCE OF SOUND

Evidence-informed Design.

Immersive live sound is at the heart of every Nāda experience. Combined with guided meditation and gentle breathwork, it creates an environment that encourages deep relaxation and a quieter state of mind.

A growing body of research is helping us understand why sound can have such a powerful effect on how we feel.

Research highlighted by Harvard Health has found that listening to music can help reduce feelings of stress and anxiety, while a major World Health Organization review of more than 3,000 studies found substantial evidence for the role of the arts - including music - in supporting health and wellbeing.

Guests often describe feeling more grounded, present and mentally refreshed - returning to their work, relationships and daily lives with a renewed sense of clarity and ease.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we gather, work and create, and we honour their connection to sound, spirit and story. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and remain in deep reverence for the wisdom of this land and its First Peoples.
